Science Series 3: Dr Lisa Gabel / Neurology / Dyslexia / Mind Controlled Drones / Music & the Brain

Dr Lisa Gabel earned her PhD in physiology and neurobiology, and an MA in Psychology/ Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut.

The research in her laboratory focuses on investigating the neurobiological mechanisms and underlying neurodevelopmental disorders (translating findings from genetic animal models to humans). Additionally, Dr. Gabel colleagues a multidisciplinary research program aimed at developing and improving EEG based brain-computer interface devices.
