Larry Sherman is a Professor of Neuroscience at the Oregon Health and Science University, and is the President of the Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter of the Society of Neuroscience.

He has over 100 publications related to brain development and neurodegenerative diseases, and is the co-author of the book Every Brain Needs Music: The Neuroscience of Making and Listening to Music.
